Low Dose Community Ceremony
Gentle medicine. Shared community. Lasting connection.
What is a Low Dose Ceremony?
A low-dose ceremony is an opportunity to gently explore the effects of psilocybin within an intentional community setting.
A low dose encourages presence, reflection, and connection. Each ceremony begins with an inward journey through guided meditation and quiet reflection, followed by community sharing and connection. At Rose Waters Sanctuary, our ceremonies are thoughtfully facilitated, aligned with the Wheel of the Year, and weave together music, ritual, and shared intention to create a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and experience the medicine as part of a collective practice.
Why Journey in Community?
While every journey is deeply personal, healing often unfolds when we remember we are not alone. At Rose Waters, one of our core values is the belief that healing happens in community. We believe the true medicine is found in the circle itself.
Community ceremonies offer the quiet medicine of shared presence. Together, we create a space where each person is free to have their own unique experience while being held in the collective care of the circle. Because sometimes the greatest gift isn't someone trying to fix us. It's simply remembering that we don't have to walk the path alone.
Who Will Be There?
Group size limited to 15 participants.
Our community ceremonies welcome adults from many walks of life. Some are experiencing psilocybin for the first time. Others returning month after month. Some come seeking healing, others clarity, creativity, or a deeper connection with themselves. What they share is a willingness to approach the experience with openness, respect, and care.

Asked
Questions
-
Many of our participants are experiencing psilocybin for the first time. Our licensed facilitators will guide you through each step of the process, from preparation to integration, so you feel informed, supported, and cared for throughout your journey.
-
A low dose falls somewhere between a microdose (which is sub-perceptual) and a larger, full-dose psilocybin journey. While the experience is intentionally gentler than a traditional high-dose ceremony, everyone's response is unique. For some, it may feel subtle and contemplative. For others, it can be deeply emotional or surprisingly profound.
Because of the group field, these lower doses often have a greater impact than people expect. Our intention is to create an experience that invites insight, connection, and healing while allowing you to remain present and engaged with the community around you.
-
Once you submit your inquiry, a member of our team will personally reach out within 1–2 business days to answer any questions, review eligibility, and guide you through the next steps, including paperwork and payment through Althea.
-
We intentionally keep our ceremonies small, with a maximum of 15 participants, to ensure every person receives individualized attention while still experiencing the healing power of community.
-
Emotions are a natural and often meaningful part of the healing process. Whether you experience joy, grief, fear, or profound peace, our facilitators are trained to compassionately support you without judgment. You will never be expected to navigate your experience alone.
-
We'll provide detailed preparation instructions before your ceremony. Most participants bring comfortable clothing, a water bottle, any required medications, and a few personal comfort items if desired. We provide everything needed for your ceremony space, including bedding, eye masks, and nourishing food following the journey.
-
In most cases, being on medication does not automatically prevent you from participating. Before every ceremony, all participants complete a confidential medical screening, and we'll carefully review your medications, health history, and any potential interactions with psilocybin.
If we have any questions or concerns, we'll discuss them with you and, when appropriate, ask you to consult with your prescribing healthcare provider. Our priority is always your safety, and we'll help determine whether a community ceremony is the right fit for you.
